Shipping & Delivery
We offer local delivery and also ship with a priority express courier. We deliver to all states in Australia, and only some restrictions apply to the areas we can deliver to:
Regional Areas - Some remote and regional areas around Australia may be unavailable for delivery due to the sensitive nature of delivering livestock. We may also restrict our delivery area due to any conditions that may impact your fish arriving happy and healthy, please contact us before ordering if you have any concerns.
Northern Territory: Any orders to NT must be accompanied by a current permit for the receiver. We will need to be sent your permit before we can process your order.
Western Australia: WA Quarantine Department can check your shipment of live fish and will bill you as the receiver for this quarantine fee.
Tasmania: Any orders to Tasmania must be accompanied by a current permit for the receiver. We will need to be sent your permit before we can process your order.
Species Restrictions: Certain species of Aquatic livestock may be prohibited from your local area. It is up to the customer of the livestock to be aware of these local regulations before ordering from us.
Deliveries within 40km of our store incur a $25 fee, all other deliveries are $45 (unless quoted for a specific order or regional area). This is normally a flat rate fee an, and does not change based on the quantity or weight of fish or items bought.
Order Processing Times:
We send all courier orders Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and our local delivery orders will be sent on any day that our team is available. All fish sent by courier are in transit for a maximum of 24hrs.
We endeavour to get you your order as soon as possible. If all of your fish and items are in stock you can expect us to deliver within 7 days of your order. If any fish or products are not in stock we make all efforts to have these in store to deliver your order. Whilst we make all efforts for our website to reflect our accurate stock levels this may be incorrect at the time of ordering.
If your fish or products are out of stock and unavailable for us to source a store credit, replacement with similar products, or refund will apply.
Alive Arrival Guarantee:
We make every effort to ensure your fish arrive happy and healthy, however in the case that your fish or plants are dead on arrival (DOA) our 100% alive arrival guarantee applies under the following conditions:
- The purchaser (or related member) must be home at the time the parcel is delivered
- The fish and plants have not been left inside their delivery box
- The fish and plants must be at the original delivery location
- The delivery address must be a real postal address (We are not able to deliver to PO Boxes)
If your fish or plants are dead on arrival please do the following:
- Take a clear and accurate photo or video of the DOA inside the original bag and send this to email@example.com
- In your email, simply quote the type and number of DOA
- Include your Name or Order Number in your email
Upon successful review our team will issue a replacement or refund for the DOA.
